Aaron Shackell (born September 11, 2004) is an American swimmer and 2024 Summer Olympics team member for the United States. [1] Shackell qualified at the 2024 US Olympic Swimming Team Trials where he placed first in the 400m freestyle.[2]
Personal life
Shackell's father, Nicholas, was also an Olympic swimmer, representing Great Britain at the 1996 Summer Olympics in the 100m freestyle. His sister Alex has also qualified for the 2024 US Olympic team after placing second in 200m butterfly and sixth in 200m freestyle.[3]
