Greater Manchester bus route X22 is a bus route runs between Trafford Centre and Bolton Interchange. It is operated by Go North West on contract from Transport for Greater Manchester on every Saturdays.

The X22 has begun operation since 24 September 2023, as one of the more recent bus route developments under Trenche 1 of Bee Network to enhance connectivity between Trafford Centre and the Bolton Interchange, providing a direct and express service with the use of Manchester Outer Ring Road, A666(M) and A666, making travel more efficient compared to other local routes. It came under the Bee Network’s initiative, which aims to modernize public transport in Greater Manchester and integrate buses into a more cohesive system with trams and other services​. The route has fewer stops than route 22, for maintaining its express nature linking Trafford Centre, Trafford Boulevard, and Bolton Interchange. This layout allows for faster travel times between these locations, serving its purpose.^[1]
