List of churches in the Roman Catholic Archdiocese of Philadelphia

This is a list of current and former Roman Catholic churches in the Roman Catholic Archdiocese of Philadelphia.[1] The cathedral church of the diocese is the Cathedral-Basilica of Ss. Peter & Paul. There are more than 200 churches in the archdiocese, divided for administrative purposes into four episcopal regions, each headed by an auxiliary bishop, and 12 deaneries. The Archbishop of Philadelphia has general oversight of the whole archdiocese.[2]

St. Katharine of Siena 104 S. Aberdeen Ave,Wayne Established in 1895 by mostly poor Irish immigrants after developers in Wayne offered each Christian denomination a parcel of land. In 1916, the first St. Katharine's school opened with 168 students.[38]
