Lovero is a comune (municipality) in the Province of Sondrio in the Italian region Lombardy, located about 120 kilometres (75 mi) northeast of Milan and about 30 kilometres (19 mi) east of Sondrio. As of 31 December 2004, it had a population of 663 and an area of 13.4 square kilometres (5.2 sq mi).[3]
Lovero borders the following municipalities: Edolo, Sernio, Tovo di Sant'Agata, Vervio.
