Poggio San Vicino is a comune (municipality) in the Province of Macerata in the Italian region Marche, located about 45 kilometres (28 mi) southwest of Ancona and about 30 kilometres (19 mi) northwest of Macerata. As of 31 December 2004, it had a population of 299 and an area of 12.9 square kilometres (5.0 sq mi).[3]
Poggio San Vicino borders the following municipalities: Apiro, Cerreto d'Esi, Fabriano, Matelica, Serra San Quirico.
Among the churches is Santa Maria Assunta.
