Zuopaotai East station (Chinese: 左炮台东站; pinyin: Zuǒpàotái Dōng; Jyutping: Zo2 Paau3 Toi4 Dung1) is the southern terminal metro station on Line 12 of Shenzhen Metro. It was opened on November 28, 2022.[1][2]
The station is named after the Left Fort which played a critical role in the defense of the Qing troops during the Opium Wars in the 19th century.[3]

The station has an island platform under Chiwan Road.[4][5]
