Dororo (どろろcode: ja is deprecated ) adalah sebuah seri manga Jepang karya mangaka Osamu Tezuka pada akhir tahun 1960-an. Sebuah adaptasi seri anime yang didasarkan dari manga dan terdiri dari 26 episode selama setengah jam, ditayangkan pada tahun 1969. Seri ini juga dijadikan film laga hidup (live-action) pada tahun 2007. Adaptasi anime barunya mulai tayang pada tahun 2019 dan terdiri dari 24 episode.
Selama akhir tahun 1960-an, manga yang menampilkan para setan sangat populer di kalangan anak-anak. Dororo pertama kali dimuat di majalah Weekly Shōnen Sunday sejak tanggal 27 Agustus 1967 hingga 22 Juli 1968, sebelum akhirnya dibatalkan. Sejalan dengan seri anime-nya, manga-nya yang juga dimuat di majalah Bōken'ō terbitan Akita Shoten ikut selesai.[3][4]
Judul karya ini terinspirasi dari kenangan masa kecil Tezuka yang menceritakan bahwa temannya salah mengeja dorobō (どろぼうcode: ja is deprecated , "pencuri") menjadi dororo.[5] Pada film laga hidupnya, nama ini dijelaskan merupakan istilah khas selatan untuk Hyakkimaru, yang berarti "Monster Kecil".
Seri anime-nya memiliki keistimewaan karena merupakan yang pertama dari apa yang sekarang dikenal sebagai seri World Masterpiece Theater.
Sebuah adaptasi seri anime baru yang diproduksi oleh MAPPA dan Tezuka Productions mulai tayang sejak tanggal 7 Januari 2019 dan ditayangkan secara streaming di Amazon.

Pada tahun 2008, Vertical Inc. menerbitkan terjemahan bahasa Inggris untuk Dororo dalam tiga volume.[6] Pada tahun 2009, manga ini memenangkan Penghargaan Eisner dalam kategori "Edisi AS Terbaik untuk Material Internasional—Jepang".[7]
Film
Sebuah film laga hidup yang disutradarai oleh Akihiko Shiota dirilis pada tahun 2007.
